I love the sea, boats (especially sailing ones) and Lighthouses.  Here I am at the helm of the Hawaiian Chieftain, in Commencement Bay, off of Tacoma. I didn't get to sail her for a long time, but I did get to sail her.  Pretty slow helm!

The Coast Guard Ship Eagle.  I had the pleasure of being able to be aboard her on Chesapeake Bay, while under full sail.  What an awesome experience!  When she came to Tacoma for the Tall Ships Celebration, I was able to be aboard once again, but this time tied to the dock.

Can anyone guess where this lighthouse is?  Here's a hint:  it's not in the Northwest.  This is the historical light at Pensacola Florida.

Fishing; what a great way to spend a day!  Maybe I should put some bait on the hook ;)

One of my favorite times was a Christmas service/concert, where my son was my accompaniment while I sang.  Yep, Tuxedos were the dress of the day :)

I wonder which one of us looks the oldest?  :) My trip to Egypt was very memorable.  To step 6000 years back into history is an experience of a life time.  It is a shame that so many places in the world are in such turmoil which sometimes prevents people from visiting.  We were in Cairo just before the Arab Spring protests began.

My beautiful and talented daughter was selected as the Employee of the Month for the VA System, in May of 2009.  She has been at the Pensacola facility for a number of years, but will start work at the Spokane facility in September of 2012.  Although closer to me in distance, it takes me longer to drive to Spokane than it does to fly to Pensacola :)  It will be great to have her closer.

June 3, 2012....my awesome son with his wonderful wife Stefani, as Zach graduated from Lewis and Clark, with his Masters in Education/School Counseling and is starting at David Douglas High School, in the Fall of 2015.

Lucy June Pace.  Born April 28 @ 12:14 AM, and has changed all of our lives forever.  Mom and Dad are over the moon with this bundle of joy.  For me...oh my, I'm so in love.  Truest me, she won't be spoiled, I'll just give her whatever she wants

Definitely a happy trio, and not just for picture taking.
